Chaibasa, Feb. 17: The Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths led by Amar Pandey caught red handed a head clerk of transport department Purn Chandra Kunakal taking Rs six thousand bribe from Somnath Koda in Chaibasa on Friday.
Somnath Koda had earlier informed about the incident to anti-corruption bureau team and the team reached the spot and caught Purn Chandra Kunakal.
The accused head clerk demanded bribe Rs six thousand as bribe from Somnath Koda in order to clear the pending pension work and the same was reported to the investigating team.
The accused has been taken into custody further investigation.
