Saraikela, Dec 4: A delegation of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) handed a letter to the VC of Kolhan University demanding the introduction of M Sc course in Kashi Sahu College. The letter cited that being the only of its kind in the district, an average of 500 students graduate annually in the B Sc stream. Basically belonging to financially weak families of rural areas these students find it difficult to opt for higher education at other higher institutions resulting in a break in their endeavors to move forward in their educational pursuit. As such, the ABVP letter demanded that the introduction of M Sc course at Kashi Sahu College in Saraikela was imperative. The organization warned that if the demand was not acceded to the members would be forced to launch agitations. The delegation included Lakshman Mahto, Singhray Tudu, Bhaskar Mahto, Vishkanth Pradhan, Shankar Mahto, Ravindra Mahto, Roshan Mahto, Amar Sahu and Sandip Kumar Mahto.
