AJSU president addresses party workers at Sidhgora Town Hall
Jamshedpur: All Jharkhand Students Union president Sudesh Mahato here on Saturday advised party workers to keep themselves away from ‘poster war’. He said the party workers should not engage in any political competition. He asked them to reach out to the poor people and help them in every possible manner. He said the party workers should begin work to change the existing political system. He was speaking at Sidhgora Town Hall during Jan Parichay cum gathering organized by the party.
Mahato said the party had decided to induct one lakh new members in the organization from all over the state so that there is no dearth of leaders at village level. He said the party had always been active on important social issues.
The former deputy CM said the state government should seriously think about providing for third vote. He said the party activists should remain aware of the issues and continue agitation in this regard. “Government should not only give assurance, but should also work to make it possible. Local municipal bodies should be made active,” he said.
Mahato took to task several party workers who raised slogans in support of local party leader Shambhu Choudhary. He said the party did not belong to any individual. Rather, the party belonged to one and all, he said.
Also present during the event was the Jugsalai MLA Ramchandra Sahis who said the party had strong hold in rural areas. He said the organization had taken a vow to fight addiction and exploitation.
