Absconding accused in robbery case held

Jamshedpur, Oct 8: Acting on tip off Kadma Police today arrested Surendra Sahni accused of looting passengers in trains from Kadma Sonari Link Road.

The arrested also has several cases lodged relating to the Adityapur robbery and others. The police recovered several items looted from trains including a mobile phone which he burgled from Utkal Express.

Addressing the media SP Karthik S said that the gold jewellery that Sahni robbed has been sold at Jugsalai which is being investigated. Karthik further said that Sahni is an active notorious criminal who has executed Bada Bazar, Purulia Bank loot and Chichra border cattle carts rapine.

 
Karthik further added that these criminals basically target the trains as several resreved train tickets have been recovered from Sahni who travels like a general passenger and execute the crime.
