Dimna XI, Suvarnarekha XI match ends in a tie
Jamshedpur, Feb 21: In an exciting clash of the Media Cup Cricket Tournament on Friday, Kalimati XI registered a convincing 50-run victory over Dalma XI at Keenan Stadium. The highlight of the match was Abhishek Singh’s explosive innings, as he fell just short of a century, scoring 99 runs off 51 balls. Captain Ratnesh Tiwari also made a valuable contribution with 35 runs off 31 balls, helping Kalimati XI post a formidable total of 166/3 in 15 overs.
In response, Dalma XI struggled to chase the target, managing only 116/7 in 15 overs. Buland Iqbal was the top scorer for Dalma XI with 50 runs off 29 balls, while Prasenjit could only add 12 runs. Abhishek Singh also shined with the ball, taking three crucial wickets.
Earlier in the day, the match between Dimna XI and Suvarnarekha XI ended in a thrilling tie. Suvarnarekha XI scored 127/2, and Dimna XI matched the total with 127/8, leading to a deadlock.
