Jamshedpur, Sep 19: Abhaya Banerjee Foundation launched adult education campaign at RMS Balichela School, Sonari, on Monday. The chief guest of the event was Shipra Mishra, teacher, Tata Workers Union. She praised the initiative and said the campaign launched by Dr Jauhar Banerjee, founder of the outfit, would go a long way in taking the society ahead and changing the outlook of people. She further appealed to people to come forward and educate women groups.
Dr Jauhar Banerjee said the campaign was launched especially for illiterate women. Such women would attend classes on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 3.30 pm to 4.30 pm under the guidance of teacher Poonam Verma. The study material would be provided by the Foundation, said Dr Banerjee.
