Jamshedpur, Nov. 4: Keeping alive the spirit of patriotism and fervor, Kerala Public School, (KPS) Mango organized its annual prize distribution function on Friday, November 4 in the aesthetically decorated school campus. It was an endeavor to acknowledge the continuing saga of glorious achievements of its students in the ICSE Board, School Examinations and various other fields.
The function commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp by the Guest of Honour, Dr. R. Bharat, Rotarian, Sarat Chandran , Director, Alka Sinna, Principal and co-ordinators of Kerala Public School, Mango. The Chief Guest along with the other members of the managing committee and distinguished guests gave away prizes to the meritorious students for their par excellent performance in various fields like ICSE Board, school examinations and attendance. In all 300 prizes were given away to the students.
Amidst heavy applause, Abdullah Farooq the Topper of the Kerala Public School was awarded P.N Menon rolling trophy and Sumitra Menon award. Menon award was given to Md. Anis Ansari and Sajda Perween for securing highest in mathematics.
Nikita Khandelwal was given Ms Shanti Devi rolling trophy for securing highest in Hindi.
The Guest of Honor in his address applauded the efforts of the prize winners and encouraged them to do better.
The Principal Alka Sinha congratulated the prize winners and their proud parents. She also motivated the students to continue their toil and attain greater heights in life.
Brief interludes in the form of cultural items like dance � a fusion of contemporary and sufi styles, Bhajan, Group song added to the grandeur of the show. The sublime energy of rhythm and melody enthralled the audience. The grand spectacle came to a close with the National Anthem.
