Jamshedpur: In a commendable initiative, the Jugsalai Municipal Council organised a camp under the program “Aapki Yojana, Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar” at Golden Marriage Hall, Hillview Area, Jugsalai. Approximately 570 citizens actively participated in the event.
The camp facilitated access to various government schemes, including Deen Dayal Antodya Yojana, National Urban Livelihood Mission Scheme, Chief Minister Shramik Scheme, Prime Minister Street Vendor Self-reliant Fund Scheme, and loans to Self Help Groups. Additionally, stalls were set up for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban), Health Department applications, Women and Child Development Department schemes (Savitribai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana), Social Security Department schemes (Sarvajan Pension Scheme), and the Food Supply Security Scheme (Ration Card).
A separate stall catered to services like birth and death certificates, cleanliness, street light repair, Aadhaar enrollment, holding, trade license, and water connection. The camp processed 94 out of 275 applications and complaints received.
Executive Officer Motay Banra, during his inspection of the stalls, distributed assets to three beneficiaries of the Savitribai Phule Kishori Samridhi Yojana. Social workers present at the event distributed 50 blankets among the urban poor and needy.
The camp witnessed the presence of key officials, including Executive Officer Motay Banra, City Manager Rajendra Kumar, Jyoti Punj, City Mission Manager Glenish Minj, Junior Engineer Jalaluddin Ansari, Mukesh Modi, and other office employees. Representatives from various departments, social workers, and dignitaries also actively participated, showcasing the collective effort towards the success of the program.
