Ranchi, July 11: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has decided to contest the upcoming Jharkhand assembly elections independently, withdrawing from the INDI Alliance. The decision was unanimously taken during a two-day state-level meeting held at the AAP state office in Ranchi.

AAP Jharkhand’s State Convener, DNA Singh, announced that the party will field candidates in all 81 assembly constituencies of Jharkhand. Singh highlighted ongoing issues in the state, emphasizing the need for systemic change after 24 years of governance changes that have not resolved fundamental issues like land disputes and rising crime rates.

Prem Kumar, the party’s deputy convenor, outlined plans for the ‘Vyavastha Badlaav Yatra’ to scrutinize the state’s governance track record across all constituencies. State Vice-President Ajay Bhagat expressed concerns over persistent challenges faced by Jharkhand residents in basic services such as electricity, water, education, healthcare, and employment.

AAP leaders have called for proactive preparation among party workers to address these issues comprehensively in the upcoming elections.
