Jamshedpur: Aam Admi Party(AAP) members today threatened to go on agitation to demand improvement in health care facilities in Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hospital.
They met the deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum Dr Amitabh Kaushal on Wednesday and handed over a memorandum to him in this regard.
The outfit members alleged that the apathy of the hospital and college authorities had led to a curtailment in the total number of seats in the MGM Medical College.
They said the condition of the hospital was deteriorating day by day due to lack of initiative taken by the authorities concerned.
The outfit leaders said the hospital should provide dress to patients so that they may be identified easily. They also demanded facility of filtered water supply in the hospital.
