Deoghar, Sept 9: Chief Secretary Rajiv Gauba & Chairman Airport Authority of India R.K. Srivastava on Wednesday conducted a meeting with officials of district administration to discuss how to acquire land for constructing the proposed airport at Kunda, Deoghar.
The content of the meeting focused on how to acquire & ensure transfer of land for the construction of airport. Forest department land, govt. land & rayati land were considered for this. The CS directed the officials about all do’s & don’ts of the rules to execute the project in timeframe.
After the meeting, the DC informed that the officials have agreed on almost all points & very soon, land acquisition process will start. Various technical aspects regarding airport construction are considered & logistic plans are being made to forward all plans parallel. He said that land will be acquired on new rates & govt. will be sent proposal for rehabilitation of the displaced.
Principal Secretary, Forest & Environment Department Sukhdeo Singh, Principal Secretary, Energy Department S. K. G. Rahate, Revenue Department Secretary K. K. Soan, Urban Aviation Secretary Ratan Kumar, Deoghar DC Arva Rajkamal along with other officials were present in the meeting.
