9th India Open Yoga Championship from Sep 14

Jamshedpur, Sep 12: Karmakar Institute of Yoga in association with Urban Services Tata Steel will be organizing 9th India Open Yoga Championship at Milanee Hall in Bistupur from September 14 which will continue till Sep 15.

In the competition students from several schools of city including KPS, NHES, Dayanand, Tagore Society, Loyola, JH tarapore and Little Flower will take part in the event. Participants from Ranchi, Simdega, Devghar, Kolkata, Hugli, Purulia, Midnapur, Murshidabad, Howrah along with several other states will compete at the championships.

More than 500 participants are expected to take part where Samantha has come all the way from Hongkong while some are expeted to arrive from Taiwan, said Baishali Karmakar President of Karmakar Institute of Yoga addressing the media persons on Thursday.

At the press meet Vice President of Jharkhand Yoga Association Ranjit Bhattacharjee, Basant Singh, Fazal Khan and others were present.
