94% of total budgetary provisions expensed in the last FY: Amit Khare

Ranchi, April 7: Extending thanks to all the Addl. CS, Principal Secretaries and Secretaries, Development Commissioner-cum-Additional Chief Secretary Amit Khare said that because of their earnest efforts, more than 94% of total budgetary provisions could be expensed in the last FY. He said it while reviewing the expenses of 2017-18 FY with all Addl. CS, Principal Secretaries and Secretaries.

He directed to maintain the pace of expenditure in various schemes from the beginning. Conveying the changed form of review meetings owing to abolishment of planned and non-planned classification, he said that development report should be submitted as per revenue and capital expenditure classification.

He said that out of the 142 announcements made in the Budget speech , 25 have been completed till first week of April, 2017. Mukhyamantri Aadim Janjati Khadyann Suraksha Yojana� has been implemented from 3rd April, 2017 and Prime Minister started the scheme of giving smart phones to 1 lakh Sakhi Mandals in Sahibganj on 6th April.

With respect to the 22nd meeting of Eastern Regional Council to be scheduled on 21st April in Patna, Amit Khare directed ministerial secretariat and Vigilance Dept., Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperative, Industry, Home and Environment Dept. that all points regarding division of assets and liabilities between Bihar and Jharkhand should be prepared sincerely in advance to attend the meeting.

DC bills worth Rs. 5,524 cr. pending with AG were reviewed Department wise and found that Rs. 1536 crore were pending under RDD and Rs. 903 cr. under Welfare Department. All department heads have been directed to adjust it in the first three months of the current FY.

In review of the audit of pending Para by the AG, it was found that maximum cases are pending with Energy, Welfare, Forest and Environment. All administrative departments are directed to dispose the pending Para in next three months.
