Jamshedpur : The Government will set up Medical College at Chaibasa. As part to boost professional education in State in the first phase the women’s college will come up at Seraikela.
As part of the efforts a professional college will come up in Jamshedpur. These colleges will work under PPP ( Private-Public Partnership) Mode.
A policy is being drafted for medical college. Moreover, in every district a teacher’s training and nursing college will be opened. Every block will be equipped with a library too.
Das said that drawing lessons from the past mistakes the Government is now meeting people seeking their aspirations and feedback on budget. “Before making policy or allotting funds we want each and every person, right from the level of villages to come forward with their demands and accordingly the expert budget makers working for state government would be directed to allocate funds to meet their needs,” he said.
Like Karnataka, government of Jharkhand is all set to start separate budget for agriculture from this fiscal. It will be the only second state in the country to do so. The Government will implement single window system for agriculture.
The Government will start campaign on programme making from December 29.
The massive exercise of ‘YojnaBanaoAbhiyan” taken up by the ministry of rural development, Das said that Panchayati Raj Institutions would be engaged actively for making plans and thereafter to monitor them.
By 2017 every village will be equipped with power. The Government is also working on plans to start film city.
