Jamshedpur: The 76th Tata Motors and 46th Inter-School Annual Athletics Meet 2024-25 commenced today at the Sumant Moolgaokar Stadium, Telco, with an impressive turnout of over 1,500 athletes and school children from Tata Motors and its affiliates. The event features 21 teams competing in 163 events, highlighting a spirit of sportsmanship and excellence.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Sunil Tiwari, Head – Jamshedpur Plant, Tata Motors, as the Chief Guest, along with Ajitesh Monga, Plant Head – Tata Cummins, and Pranav Kumar, Head – HR, Tata Motors, as the Guests of Honour.
Several senior officials were also present, including Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Head – Medical Services, Tata Motors Hospital, Dr. Sanjay Srivastava, Head – Medical Department, P.K. Sinha, GM – Heat Treatment, Jivraj Singh Sandhu, GM – CV ERC, Dr. Devinder Padan, GM – Foundry Factory, Soumik Roy, GM – ER, CSR & Skill Development, Golam Mondal, GM – CCE, V.N. Singh, Head – Administration & Security, Rajat Singh, Head – Town Administration, Partha Mukhopadhyay, DGM – Hospital Administration, and R.K. Singh, General Secretary, Tata Motors Workers Union, among others.
The final day of the event is scheduled for tomorrow, concluding with the prize distribution ceremony at 3:00 PM. The meet continues to showcase outstanding talent and sportsmanship, reinforcing Tata Motors’ commitment to promoting athletics and youth development.
