76-pound cake cut on Lalu Yadav’s 76th birthday in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, June 11: The 76th birthday of Lalu Prasad Yadav, the National President of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), was marked with great joy and fervor under the auspices of Lalu Vichar Kendra, Jharkhand Pradesh. A grand celebration took place at a hotel in Gamharia on Sunday, June 11, where a remarkable 76-pound cake was cut to commemorate the occasion. The event was led by Purendra Narayan Singh, the convener of Lalu Vichar Kendra, Jharkhand State.

As soon as the cake was cut, Lalu Prasad Yadav enthusiastically raised slogans of Zindabad, expressing his gratitude to the assembled crowd. The atmosphere was further filled with joy as everyone joined in singing the birthday song, “Happy Birthday to you Lalu.”

Following the cake cutting ceremony, Purendra Narayan Singh performed a Tilak ceremony on Lalu Prasad’s picture and offered prayers for his long and healthy life. An aarti (devotional ritual) was conducted to seek divine blessings. Renowned Bhojpuri singer Rajesh Rasik delighted the audience with songs based on the life and achievements of Lalu Prasad Yadav.

Acknowledging the dedication and commitment of individuals who played a pivotal role in spreading Lalu Prasad Yadav’s policies, principles, and programs to the masses throughout the year, five active workers were honored during the celebration. Additionally, a question and answer competition based on the biography of Lalu Prasad Yadav was organized, with prizes awarded to the winners among the enthusiastic supporters present at the event.
