Bolani (Odisha), Jan 24: The 72nd Republic Day was celebrated with enthusiasm at Bolani Ores Mines, a unit of PSU Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL).
Keeping in mind, the prevailing situation of Covid-19, the day was celebrated with limited number of people at Bolani football ground. Bolani Ores Mines Chief General Manager Arun Kumar Mishra present as the chief guest for the occasion, unfurled the national flag.
Three contingents of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) stationed at the Bolani mine took salute of the impressive Republic Day parade.
On the occasion, Chief Guest Arun Mishra said, Bolani Ores Mines is the best performing mines in RMD of SAIL. On the occasion he congratulated the executives, employees and contract workers working in the mine.
“The company management reiterated its efforts for development of colony, road construction and beautification of the township. Limited guests participated in the program. Mine management later distributed sweets at SAIL Hospital.
Meanwhile, Republic day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Bolani Railway Station, Bolani Police Station various social organizations, labor unions, government and private offices celebrated the day with fervour.
