Jamshedpur, Feb 4: The 70th Saastha Preeti Celebrations at Sri Dharma Saastha Temple, Bistupur concluded on Sunday. As part of this Sri Ganapati puja was held early in the morning.
Later on 16 kalash were installed where puja and archana was performed for 16 kalash, followed by maha abhishek for all the presiding deities in the temple while the visiting Ved pandits chanted Rudram Namakam and Chamakam.
Later in the day devotional songs were presented Acharya Bhakta Sabha, Jamshedpur. Vidvan Kanchi S. Shanmugasundaram played Nadaswaram which was enjoyed by devotees who had assembled on the concluding day of the Saastha Preeti Celebration on Sunday.
After this shringar of the deities was done, later Maha arati was shown and prasad was distributed among thousands of devotees by the managing committee members.
To make the 12-day religious programme successful, K S Jayaraman, Sitarama Sharma, S Krishna, Ganapati Shankar, J Suresh, Sri Balasubramanyam, S Srinivas, N Rammurty, V Natarajan, Achyutan Pillaton, Ranjan, Varadarajan, T S Pradeep, Rajesh, Shiv Kumar, Kalyan Raman and many others contributed immensely.
