7-hour mega railway block today

Jamshedpur, June 14: South Eastern Railways (SER) has announced a 7-hour mega block from 12 noon to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, for the construction of Low Height Sub-Way (LHS) for the third line near the unmanned railway crossing between Adityapur and Gamharia railway station in Chakradharpur Division of SER.

The train services would be affected on the Howrah-Mumbai route, V Ram Babu, Tatanagar regional manager, said. �He informed that four trains have been cancelled for the construction work, while routes of a dozen trains have been diverted. Ten trains will be controlled for some time at various stations. The trains will start moving according to the schedule time after the completion of work.

V Ram Babu further said Pune-Howrah Duronto Express route will be diverted and it will leave for Kharagpur from Kandra via Adra. Passengers from Tatanagar would get down at Kandra and railway will make arrangements for them to travel to Tatanagar.

The trains that would remain cancelled on June 15 include 13512/13511 Asansol-Tata-Asansol, 68055 Asansol-Tata Memo, 68014 Tata-Kharagpur Memo, 78033/78-34 Tata-Gua Demo.

The trains whose route will be diverted include 12021 Howrah-Barbil Janshatabi, 13301/13302 Dhanbad-Tata-Dhanbad Express will arrive till Kandra Station and not at Tata, 58662 Hatia-Tata Passenger will run on diverted route from Gamharia, 58661 Tata-Hatia Passenger will leave from Gamharia.

In addition 18101 Tata-Jammu Tawi Express will leave 4.15 minutes late, 18109 Rourkela-Jammu Tawi Express will leave 4 hours late, 18189 Tata-Alleppey Express will leave 3.45 hours late, 13351 Dhanbad-Alleppey Express will leave 3.30 hours late, 12860 Howrah-Mumbai Geetanjali Express will leave 2 hours late, 12768 Santragachi Nanded Express will leave 1.15 hours late, 18184 Dhanbad-Tata Express will leave 3 hours late, 58023 Tata Barkakhana Passenger will leave 3 hours late, 58113 Tata-Barbil Passenger will leave 5.45 hours late, and 68009 Tata-Chakradharpur Memo will leave 1 hour late.

The trains that would run on �diverted route include 12261 Mumbai-Howarh Duronto that would leave for Kharagpur via Sini-Kandra-Sini-Adra, 12872 Titlagarh-Howrah Ispat Express via Sini-Kandra-Sini-Kharagpur and the same route will remain cancelled on June 15 between Sini-Tata-Kharagpur, 12443 HLZ-ANVT Express diverted route Kharagpur-MDN-Adra will run via Purulia.

On June 15, the train services will remain cancelled between Kharagpur-Tata-Purulia. 13267 Durg Danapur South Bihar Express and 58110 Tata-Gua Passenger will run with control at various railway stations.
