Ranchi: The School Games Federation of India (SGFI) is set to host the 67th National School Games 2023, featuring 29 sports, with Jharkhand as the host for six of them, namely football, Kho Kho, Kabaddi, Wushu, skating, and cycling. The schedule for this prestigious competition, to be held in Ranchi, has been officially released. The event is scheduled to take place from December 19, 2023, to February 12, 2024.
State Program Officer, Dhiren A Soreng, shared this information during a press conference at the Education Project Council. The competition, organized under the auspices of the Jharkhand School Education Department and Education Project Council, will seek the assistance of various sports associations.
The possible dates for the six sports events scheduled in Ranchi are as follows:
Football: December 19 to 22, 2023
Kho-Kho: December 26 to 29, 2023
Kabaddi: January 4 to 7, 2024
Wushu: January 17 to 21, 2024
Skating: February 1 to 4, 2024
Cycling: February 8 to 12, 2024
