Jamshedpur: Tata Steel Sports Department today organised a Prize Distribution ceremony for ongoing Summer Camp participants at the JRD Tata Sports Complex.
Winners of various categories of sporting disciplines like Chess, Cricket, Tennis, Zumba were awarded today. The event saw the presence of Jay Prakash Rai, Editor, Chamakta Aaina newspaper as Chief Guest for the Prize Distribution ceremony at JRD Tata Sports Complex.
Besides, another prize distribution ceremony was also held at ISWP Sports Complex where winners of Basketball and Archery tournaments were awarded by Awtar Singh, Head CSR ISWP.
A total 67 gold, 67 silver and 52 bronze medals were awarded to the participants of various junior and senior groups.
During the function at JRD Tata Sports Complex, Jayant Bhuyan was felicitated for his feat in donating 100 units of blood. Besides, a Tug of War event was also conducted for parents of participants of the Summer Camp.
Present on the occasion were Ashish Kumar, Head, Sports, Tata Steel, senior official and Arjuna Awardee Bagicha Singh, coaches and trainers of various sporting disciplines, participants as well as parents.
