Jamshedpur, May 28: The long wait of the CBSE Class 12 students was finally over as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the results on Sunday Morning.
Continuing the tradition, students of DAV Public School, Bistupur, put up a brilliant performance as Shivani of the school was the second city topper in science with 96.4 per cent while Bhavna Agarwal was the third city topper in commerce with 94 per cent marks.
The students stole the show as 67 students of the school scored 90 % and above marks. Last year 101 students scored 90 % and above marks.
“I’m am very delighted with the results as the outcome is more or less the same as we predicted and would like to thank each and every teacher and student who has put in a lot of hard work,” said, Pragya Singh, principal of DAV, Bistupur.
She further said, “We should continue to strive for better results and put up more improved performance the next year.”
Bhavna Agarwal, school topper in commerce stream, who scored 94 %, said, “I always paid attention in class and clarified my doubts from teachers. Teachers are helpful and supportive. I am feeling on top of the world.”
Shivani, school topper second city topper in science, who scored 96.4 % in bio-science, gave all the credits for his success to his parents and teachers who helped her a lot. “I want to thank my parents and teachers who at any point of time helped me out and were very supportive”.
Rikesh Sharma who is the second school topper in science scored 94.8 % followed by Ashutosh Kumar with 94.4 % and Mangesh Kritya with 94 % marks.
In commerce stream, Rahul Kedia was the second school topper with 88 % marks followed by Priya Agarwal with 87.4 % marks.
