Seraikela, July 19: Seraikela-Kharsawan deputy commissioner Arava Rajkamal on Tuesday informed that six new Covid cases have been reported in the district in the last 24 hours. Total active cases in the district have gone up to 18. Total of 377 samples (RAT, RTPCR, TRUNET) was tested on Tuesday.
Three infected patients are from Gamharia and three from Chandil and they have been kept under the supervision of doctors.
DC appealed to follow COVID-19 guidelines and cooperate with district administration in preventing the spread of infection.
Arava Rajkamal said that if any person is suffering from cough, cold, fever, fatigue, abdominal pain, then he should visit the nearest health center, sub-health center and get a Covid test done to ensure infection can be treated in time.
