Jamshedpur, Dec. 17: Manasi Club, Tata Motors officers wives welfare organization organized “Ekho”, an inter school elocution, debate and creative writing contest in Hindi and English at Telco Club on Saturday, December 17.
The aim of this programme is to develop children’s communication skills and creativity. This programme also provides a platform for children of semi urban and rural schools to compete with the best of schools to show case their talent. Participating students were very enthusiastic and such competition has developed lot of confidence among them.
AB Lall, Head-Jamshedpur Plant, graced the occasion and distributed prizes to the winners of the competition. Earlier on the day the programme was inaugurated by Mrs. Bharati Lall, President, Mansi Club.
A large number of Sr. Executives of Tata Motors, school children and teachers were present on the occasion. This year more than 550 students from 18 schools participated and it also included students from rural areas in and around Jamshedpur. This competition started in 2014 and hosted its third edition.
Manasi Club, Tata Motors Wives Welfare Organization, which started in the year 1997 has come a long way as it has grown from a small group of committed individuals to a registered welfare organization.
It is committed to further the cause of the less privileged through a range of activities like sponsoring cataract operations, providing scholarship to financially poor students.
