Jamshedpur, June 22: On the eight day of the ongoing 47th Brahmotsav at Andhrabhakt Sri Rammandiram in Bistupur, devotees pulled the chariot decorated with colourful flowers on Wednesday.
Earlier at around 7.30 in the morning devotees in large number assembled at the temple and worshipped Lord Balaji.
Rathotsav was inaugurated by Suresh Agiwal, president of Satnarayan Marwari Mandir and his wife Manju Agiwal.
The Rathotsav was flagged off at 7.30 which traversed through Bistupur Main Road before reaching Bistupur Post Office.
Later in the evening at 6 pm the chariot reached the temple premises.
At 9 pm Abhishek of Lord Balaji was performed followed by prasad distribution among the devotees.
The attraction of the evening was Nadeshwaram, the shehnai maestro from Andhra Pradesh.
