Mohit Chauhan and Neeraj Sridhar to perform in Jamshedpur

46th XLRI MAXI Fair to light up Steel City with ‘Marketing Manoranjan’ on January 17-18

Jamshedpur: Renowned playback singers Mohit Chauhan and Neeraj Sridhar will be the main attractions of the 46th edition of the XLRI MAXI Fair, scheduled to be held on January 17 and 18, 2026, at the XLRI Football Ground. Mohit Chauhan will perform on January 18, while Neeraj Sridhar will set the stage on fire on January 17, promising two vibrant musical evenings for the people of Jamshedpur.

Organised by the Marketing Association of XLRI (MAXI), the two-day mega fair is expected to draw nearly 15,000 visitors from across the city and nearby areas. One of Jamshedpur’s most awaited annual events, the MAXI Fair has become a cultural tradition, with generations planning their January weekends around it. Now in its 46th year, the fair continues to blend entertainment, creativity, and community bonding.

This year’s theme, “Marketing Manoranjan,” celebrates films, music, light, and life, reflecting the cultural spirit of Jamshedpur. The theme highlights how entertainment acts as a unifying force in the city, bringing together people of all ages and backgrounds through shared memories of cinema, music, and joy.

The fair will feature seven curated competitive events spread across both days, making it an all-day family-friendly experience. On January 17, the day will begin with MasterChef Jamshedpur from 9:00 am to 10:30 am for participants aged 18 and above. This will be followed by Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Jamshedpur from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm, open to three age groups — 7–12 years, 13–17 years, and 18 years and above.

The afternoon will see colourful participation in the Fancy Dress Competition from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm, with categories for children aged 5–8 years and 9–12 years. Later, the much-awaited Mr. & Ms. Jamshedpur Fashion Show will be held from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm for participants aged 16 and above, an event that has consistently drawn large crowds over the years.

On January 18, the day will begin with Art Attack from 9:30 am to 11:00 am, divided into two categories for children aged 5–10 years and 11–15 years. Dance Mania will follow from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, open to participants aged 7–14 years and 15–25 years. The day will also include Bollywood Trivia, a group event with teams of two to three members.

Alongside these events, the Mela Zone will remain open throughout both days, offering games, food stalls, and recreational activities, adding to the festive atmosphere.
