Ranchi, May 26: Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Thursday asserted that in this financial year 4000 houses will be electrified through solar energy and by 2019 every house of the state will get 24×7 power supplies to make villages prosperous and self reliant.
The CM said in modern era without electricity one can�t think of development. According to him, now onwards the village of Bhagwan Birsa will be an ideal village and here there will be no power crisis. CM was today addressing unveiling ceremony of 132/33 KV grid substation and 132KV lilo transmission line at Tamad.
Das said that Jharkhand has the capacity to light the entire country. He said that from this grid substation at Tamad low voltage issue will be resolved, adding that the Tamad grid is being connected to the Chandil grid. Earlier, Namkum grid was supplying power to these areas, which is 70 KM away; now uninterrupted power supply to this area will enable the growth & development of Industries in this area, added CM.
CM appealed the youth Entrepreneurs to come forward and establish food processing plant on PPP mode. He said policy is already in existence in this category. Closed cold storages will be restarted; Training will be given to school dropouts so that they can be self-employed.
Das said 26,000 women self-help group is being clustered with Jharcraft. The state government will buy child dresses, bed sheets, quilts and towels from Jharcraft, This will result in generating employment for women of these SHG�s and enhance their income, added CM.
The CM said Panchayat Sachivalaya is being constituted within a month in every panchayat so that beneficiaries can get facilities from the Govt. schemes. He said there will be GARIB KALYAN MELA in every three month. He further added that there must be a monthly meeting of gram sabha at every panchayat.
CM called for the suggestions for development of the society, He said state government will reward valuable suggestions.
At the same time, Das congratulated Prime Minister Narendra�Modi and his entire team for successful completion of two years on behalf of people of Jharkhand. He further said that the central government has set a new bench mark of development and gave country to new heights in the global arena.
