Jamshedpur, March 20: Parents and students from Telco Hill Top School rallied at the District Collector’s (DC) office in Jamshedpur on Wednesday, highlighting concerns over the school’s management and demanding promotion for more than 40 failed students in class 11.
During the protest, students voiced grievances regarding frequent teacher changes, resulting in a lack of coordination and proper syllabus coverage. Allegations were made that questions beyond the syllabus were included in examinations, contributing to the students’ failure.
One student cited a significant delay in teaching due to teacher absenteeism during the initial months, leading to incomplete syllabus coverage. Despite their efforts, the management reportedly refused to consider promotion for the failed students.
The demonstrators submitted a memorandum to DC Ananya Mittal, urging intervention and advocating for the promotion of the affected students to the next class.
