4 gang members arrested for stealing heavy vehicle in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, December 20: Police have exposed a gang involved in stealing of trailors in Jamshedpur. These people were preparing to cut the stolen trailer and send it to Punjab through goods truck. The police have arrested four people from the Burmines area in this case.

 Rohit Kumar Sharma, Chandan Yadav alias Kallu, residents of Barigoda, Parsudih, Arjun Sen and Ajay Singh, residents of Burmamines, have been taken into custody on charges of theft. The goods of three tonnes of cut trailer parts have been recovered by the police from them. In this, the number plate of the trailer, the gas cylinder used for cutting, six mobiles have been confiscated.

On Monday, DSP CCR Animesh Gupta disclosed the matter at Burmines police station. During this, police station in-charge Raju and other officers were present. The DSP said that on the night of December 14, one trailer was stolen. A case was registered in this matter in the police station. The police had recovered the horse engine of the trailer from the Chowk.

Investigation revealed that this trailer was stolen by Rohit and Chandan. Both were arrested. On the behest of both, some stolen goods were recovered from Harshvardhan’s stall located in Kanderbeda. Later it was learned that other parts of the trailer were being loaded into the truck and taken to Punjab. The police confiscated this truck from Barhi.

 The investigation also revealed that the trailer was stolen on the day of the incident by Arjun Sen while driving. Chandan and Rohit were in front of the trailer on the bike. This trailer was delivered to Kanderbera. The accused have told the police that they have stolen two trailers and one Hyva so far. A case has also been registered against Rohit in the Burmines police station in the past.
