Jamshedpur, September 28: The ten-day training camp of the 37 Jharkhand Battalion NCC began on Sunday at NML KPS, with 370 cadets from 33 educational institutions, including girls, participating. Colonel Vinay Ahuja, Commanding Officer and Camp Commandant, addressed the cadets, highlighting the importance of unity, discipline, and the purpose of the NCC.
He also expressed gratitude to KPS Director Srikant Nair for supporting the smooth conduct of the camp. The program, running until October 6, will include various activities, including shooting training for the cadets. Deputy Camp Commandant Colonel Prem Chand Jha, Subedar Major Ravin Khandal, other Army medal recipients, NCOs, JCOs, ANOs, and the camp caretaker were also present during the inauguration, encouraging the cadets to make the most of the training.
