Jamshedpur, June 3: DAV Public School, Bistupur, students performed well in the CBSE Class 10 exam. 36 students of the school scored 10 CGPA, a giant leap as compared to last year (2016) where 13 students scored 10 CGPA.
This year a total of 228 students appeared for the exam against the registered 229 and the school achieved 100 per cent pass percentage. According to the principal Pragya Singh, 95 students of the school scored CGPA 9 and more.
16 students scored 9.8 CGPA, 10 got 9.6 CGPA, 10 scored 9.4 CGPA,9 students scored 9.2 CGPA while 14 students of the school scored 9 CGPA.
Pragya Singh, principal of the DAV Bistupur, said, “I am satisfied with the overall result this year as the students with 10 CGPA has increased. It doesn’t matter if the student has scored 9 or 10 CGPA it’s a part of life and students should strive to improve their performance.”
Principal advised the students who scored 9 CGPA or less to don’t get demoralize and work hard for the next exam as Class 10 result is not the end of life. “Last year 13 students of the school scored 10 CGPA and we just want to improve the overall performance of the school and not only increase the CGPA,” added Singh.
Keshav Kishore of DAV Public School, Bistupur, scored perfect 10 in the class 10. He wants to pursue engineering for which he has already started preparations.
“I was expecting 10 CGPA as I had worked really hard and studied six hours with full concentration daily”, said, Nihal Kumar.
Most of the school toppers want to pursue their career in engineering while some want to become doctors.
