Jamshedpur, Feb 23: The 32nd Sri Shyam Mahotsav was organized at Sakchi Shiv Mandir on Tuesday, February 23 under the joint aegis of Sakchi Shiv Mandir committee and Shri Shyam Parivar. The entire temple complex and Shyam Baba’s throne was decorated with flowers and the main attractions of the Mahotsav was the celestial decoration, Chhappan Bhog (56 items of food and fruits for consecration by the Lord), Akhand Jyot and the Sankirtan programme. In view of the COVID protocols, all the devotees were seen standing in queue and paid obesiance to the deity. To keep the Nishaan Yatra tradition alive 101 devotees took out Shobha Yatra which began from Sakchi Shiv Mandir after performing the rituals. The procession travessered through Saatchi Palang Market Chowk, Kalimati Road, Sagar Hotel Chowk, Kasidih before culminating at Sakchi Shiv Mandir.
Bhajan program commenced at 9 pm on February 23 which continued till late night. The songs were rendered by bhajan singer from Jaipur Avinash Sharma and Jamshedpur’s popular Mahavir Agrawal. The flag rituals were jointly performed on Tuesday morning by Anita-Girdhari Lal Khemka, Babita-Pawan Khemka, Manish-Bablu Agarwal and Anshuiya-Naresh Agarwal. The hosts for the akhand jyot puja in he evening were Manju-Rajkumar Chanduka. The rituals were performed by five preists led by Vipin Jha.
To make the religious program successful Subhash Sah, Naresh Agrawal, Kamlesh Chowdhary, Suresh Agrawal, Naresh Singhania, Bablu Agrawal, Mohit Sah, Pawan Khemka, Rishabh Moonka, Shubham Debuka, Shankar Lal Agrawal, Manoj Agrawal Pappu, Yash Agrawal, Ankit Moonka, Tushar Jindal, Manish Sharma, Ghanshyam Agrawal, Umang Agrawal, Amar Dangbajia, Girdhari Lal Khemka, Vivek Agrawal, Aman Khemka, Rahul Chowdhary, Amit Sah, Aman Naredi, Mahesh Agrawal and others played vital role.
