Jamshedpur, Feb 7: The two-day 31st Shri Shyam Mahotsav organized under the joint aegis of Shri-Shri Sakchi Shiv Mandir and Shri Shyam Parivar, concluded today with more than 5,000 devotees partaking of the Lord�s consecrated food. In spite of the huge crowd, there was no jostling at the several Bhandara counters where people could avail of the sacred food with ease and comforts. Separate areas for men and women devotees had been arranged by the managing committee for smooth distribution of Shri Shyam�s consecrated food.
The second day�s proceedings of the two-day Mahotsav commenced with prayers by devotees before Baba Shyam. Apart from local people, devotees from away places were also present on both days of this festival. Among those present at the Bhandara were Jharkhand Minister Banna Gupta�s wife Sudha Gupta, Ashok Bhalotia, Nirmal Kabra, Bajrang Lal Agrawal, Umesh Sah, Vijay Anand Moonka, Omprakash Ringasia and Mukesh Mittal.
The organizing committee members included Subhash Sah, Suresh Agrawal, Naresh Khandelwal, Bablu Agrawal, Mohit Sah, Rishabh Moonka, Tushar Jindal, Kamlesh Chowdhary, Asish Khanna, Amit Sah along with all the members of Shyam Parivar.
