Jamshedpur: Dr. G.C. Majhi and Dr. Saurabh Chaudhary dominated the IMA Jamshedpur elections, securing the President and Secretary posts, respectively, for the third consecutive term, completing their hat-trick of victories.
Dr. Rajeev Thakur emerged as the most popular executive committee member, receiving 466 votes, the highest of any candidate in this year’s elections.
Voter Turnout
The election saw a 47% turnout, reflecting strong support from the city’s medical community. Out of 1,154 registered members, 548 doctors voted, endorsing the current leadership.
The process was conducted peacefully under the supervision of a three-member election committee: Dr. Umashankar Singh, Dr. Ram Narayan Prasad, and Dr. Neeraj Kumar.
