31 patients to undergo cataract surgery

Jamshedpur, Dec. 5: The 590th Eye Cure Camp organized by the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) and Ram Manohar Seva Sansthan, commenced today. 110 patients with eye ailment were present at Ram Manohar Lohia Netralaya since morning. 

After undergoing COVID-19 test, doctors led by Dr. B P Singh noted eye surgeon of Jamshedpur, and Dr. Abhishek and his team screened the patients for Cataract and other eye problems in which 31 patients were listed for surgery.

Sponsored by Savita Devi Nagin Bhai Charitable Trust, the eye cure camp will continue till Monday, 7th December during which operations and post-operative care will be taken.

On the occasion, Abhishek Ranjan, President of Delhi unit of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Research Foundation, Rabindranath Choubey, noted advocate and social worker of Jamshedpur, Chandramohan Singh, noted social worker, Balmukund Goyal, President, Ram Manohar Lohia Seva Sansthan, amd others were present.
