Jamshedpur, Jan 16: Preparations are underway at Sidhgora Town Hall for a grand Saraswati Puja celebration, with a towering 31-foot idol of Maa Saraswati as the centrepiece. The stunning idol, a masterpiece of artistic craftsmanship, is set to captivate devotees during the festivities.
The idol will be officially inaugurated on February 1, 2025, by Jharkhand’s Minister of Education, Ramdas Soren. The Saraswati Puja celebration itself is scheduled for February 2, 2025, and is expected to draw large crowds from across the region.

The event promises to be a cultural and spiritual highlight, celebrating the goddess of knowledge, wisdom, and arts. Local artists have been working tirelessly to craft the enormous idol, which symbolizes devotion and creativity.
Speaking about the upcoming event, an organizer stated, “This is not just a puja; it is a celebration of our culture and heritage. The 31-foot idol is a testament to the dedication of our artists and the unity of our community.”
