Jamshedpur, Sept. 20: Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur and Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur West jointly organised a talk on cancer awareness on how to combat the disease and how positive attitude help to fight any odds of life including disease like Cancer in Birsa Basti Sonari.
Resource person Dr. S K Prasad of Medica Hospital talked about different types of cancer such as- Oral, Lung, Breast, Ovarian and Cervical Cancer.
He also talked about how early detection can save a life. Editor of the club Dr Manju Rani Singh shared her experience as how positive attitude helped her to fight against this disease. She stressed on positive thinking which can help to overcome any odd situation.
Around 30 ladies from the slum were benefitted by the awareness talk. DLCC Aruna Taneja and District Editor Dr. Rita Jha along with President of the club Alokananda Bakshi and President Kalpana Bhavnath IWC Jamshedpur West were present.
Also present were Amita Sinha,Vice President Mousumi Roy, Secretary Nibha Mishra, Editor Purbi Ghosh, Radhika Dhandhania, Kamala and Nikunj Francis for their support and presence.
