Seraikela, July 31. A speeding trailer hit a car coming towards Seraikela in a road accident that happened on Sunday night near Sanjay village Line on Seraikela-Kandra main road under Seraikela police station.
After which the trailer got stuck under the road. Car riders Swagat Patnaik, resident of Patnaik Tola of Seraikela, his mother Amrita Patnaik and father Subhash Patnaik were seriously injured in the incident and were evacuated by road ambulance with the help of local people.
The injured after first aid were referred to MGM, Jamshedpur. Swagat Patnaik has suffered serious head injuries in the incident. And his condition is said to be critical. In connection with the incident, it is being told that Swagat Patnaik along with his mother Amrita Patnaik and his father Subhash Patnaik were returning to their home in Seraikela in a hired car.
Meanwhile, the trailer coming from the front at an uncontrolled speed hit the car. The driver driving the hired car could not be traced after the incident. Seraikela police, who reached the spot with the information of the incident, have started investigating the matter while providing treatment facilities to the injured.
