Ranchi, June 3: Three people from Jharkhand were seriously injured in a train accident in Odisha’s Balasore area. All three are residents of Godda district. All three are residents of Mordiha village of Thakurgangati block. The three youths were going to Chennai in search of work in the Coromandel Express.
The three people from Godda who were injured are Mithun Pandit, Rajeev Pandit and Mukesh Pandit. In an injured condition, he was safely taken out of the train, after which the treatment of the injured is going on in Balasore District Hospital itself.
Mukesh Pandit, 35, Mithun Kumar Pandit, 30, and Rajeev Pandit, 27, all sustained serious head injuries. All three had left the village on Wednesday in search of work together and were going to Chennai by the same train.
When the family members came to know about the accident, there was chaos in the house. Mukesh Pandit spoke to the people of his house in Mordiha late on Friday night from the helpline number of the hospital. There are ten stitches in the head. All efforts are being made to ensure that all the three youths are treated properly. The relatives demand that they be brought to Jharkhand as soon as possible and they get better treatment here.
