Jamshedpur, Jan. 10: The three-day Rabindra Sangeet Conference concluded amid the presentation of Rabindra Sangeet by 12 artistes, including four from neighboring Bangladesh at Sakchi�s Rabindra Bhavan on Sunday.
At the start of the concluding day, students presented Ravindra Sangeet followed by Bangladesh�s famous Ajijur Rehman Tuhin which made the audience spell bound.
Jamshedpur�s Chandana Chopudhary, Kolkata�s Surjeet Chhaterjee and Bangladesh�s Layza Ahmed Liza presentation was appreciated by the audience.
On the occasion, Ashish Choudhary, general secretary of Tagore Society, said, the annual event is organised to pay tribute to the Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore.
Over the years, well-known exponents of Rabindra Sangeet have been participating. The society has been organizing and will continue to do so to connect the society and youths with the rich culture.
In addition, 40 paintings by students of Tagore School of Arts will be on display during the event.
