3 arrested, 14 stolen bikes recovered in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, August 2:. The Burmamines police busted the bike thieves gang and arrested three members of the gang. At their instance, 14 stolen bikes have been recovered. The arrested accused include Suraj Singh alias KD, a resident of Golmuri, Ayush Nag, a resident of Birsa Nagar and Srinath Rajak, a resident of Sundernagar.

 Rural SP Mukesh Kumar Lunayat, who organized a press conference at Burmamines police station, said that on July 29, a bike belonging to Manish Kumar Pal, a resident of Burmamines, was stolen. Manish Kumar had registered an FIR in the police station in this matter.

During investigation, the police got a secret information that the stolen bike is with Suraj Singh alias KD, a resident of Golmuri. After this, the police raided by forming a team and arrested Suraj Singh while recovering the stolen bike from his house. During interrogation, Suraj Singh named his accomplices Ayush Nag and Srinath Rajak, after which both were arrested by the police.

Another stolen bike was recovered from them. Rural SP said that out of the recovered bikes, six bikes have been verified, while other bikes are being investigated. He told that the arrested Suraj Singh alias KD and Ayush Nag carry out the incident of bike theft for intoxication. After the theft, both used to sell the bike to Srinath Rajak for just two and a half thousand rupees.
