28 students participate in scouts and guides camp at ADLS

Jamshedpur, Dec. 21: ADLS Sunshine School organized Scouts and Guides camp at the school premises on Wednesday, December 21.

The chief guests for the day were V. Shankar Rao, Hony. General Secretary, ADL Society and Indrani Singh, Principal, ADLS Sunshine School. Nearly 28 students took part in the camp which was organised under the supervision of Vimla teacher and Naresh Sir.

The camp aims to create awareness among the upcoming generation and impress upon to inculcate habit of becoming social worker and always maintain good habit of discipline.

Scouts and Guides were also made aware of safety skills to meet any crisis. The camp included Flag hoisting, knotting, first and techniques, gadgets, tent pitching, bridge building, camp fire etc.

The students reaffirmed the promise �on my honour I promise that I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country, to help other people and to obey the Scout / Guide law�.

The Hony. General Secretary ADL Society, V. Shankar Rao, appreciated the efforts of teachers and students who took initiative to organise a camp during winter vacation.

He said that these camps are very important for the personality development of the students.

The Principal, Indrani Singh said that such event is very beneficial in order to explore and develop sportsmen spirit of social worker among the participants.
