26,237 to appear in 10th board, 24,702 in intermediate level from Jamshedpur

Administration for smooth conduct of JAC board exams

Jamshedpur, March 9: East Singhbhum administration is geared up for smooth conduct of the ensuing matriculation and intermediate examination to be conducted by Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC).

Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav held a meeting and gave necessary guidelines to the officials regarding the successful conduct of the examination.

The matriculation examination is starting from March 14, which will continue till April 3, while the intermediate examination will start from March 14 and will continue till April 5.

For the successful conduct of the examination, 46 zonal magistrates and 101 static magistrates have been deputed. Adequate number of police force will be deployed along with the magistrate for better maintenance of law and order in all the examination centres. The district education officer  informed about the instructions issued by the Jharkhand Academic Council. The Deputy Commissioner also talked about 100 percent compliance of the instructions issued by the JAC Board.

In Dhalbhum subdivision, there will be 47 examination centers for 10th board and 19 for intermediate, whereas in Ghatshila subdivision, there will be 25 examination centers for 10th and 10 for intermediate. In the first shift, the 10th class exam will be held between 10 am to 1 pm and in the second shift, the intermediate exam will be held from 2 pm to 5pm.

This year 26,237 candidates are appearing in the 10th board examination and 24,702 candidates are appearing in the 12th board examination from all over the district.

All the centre superintendents were directed that under no circumstances should information about misconduct be received. Strict action will be taken if the candidates are found misbehaving during the surprise inspection. The static and patrolling magistrate appointed for the examination will conduct the examination in a malpractice-free manner as per the departmental instructions.

It is necessary for the officials and other employees working in the examination centers to have ID card. Under no circumstances should unauthorized persons enter the examination centers, strict action will be taken if this happens. Along with this, in view of the summer season, instructions were given to keep drinking water and ORS solution in all the examination centers. If there is a problem of bench desk, toilet, electricity, drinking water etc. in any examination centre, instructions were given to immediately contact the concerned block education extension officer to get it rectified.
