25th Ramarcha Puja concludes at Saryu Roy’s residence

Jamshedpur: The 25th Ramarcha Puja organized by Jamshedpur West MLA Saryu Roy concluded with traditional rituals on Thursday at his residence in Bistupur. The elaborate puja was conducted by five Brahmin priests under the guidance of Gaurishankar Thakur from Begusarai, along with priests Vinod Pandey, Dhanji Pandey, Dheeraj Pandey, and Ghanshyam Mishra.

The religious ceremony began with Shanti Paath, followed by Sankalp, and proceeded with the installation of the Kalash. The worship was performed in four sequential stages that included.

 

Worship of deities including Ma Maheshwari, Lord Mahadev, Ganesh Ji, Mahashakti, Mahalakshmi, Mahadurga, Ma Gayatri, Ma Saraswati, Navgrah, and other divine entities (First stage); Ayodhya Ji and deities such as Shri Saryu Ji, Gangadevi, Shri Kesari Ji, Shri Angad Ji, Sugreev Maharaj, Shri Vibhishan Ji, among others (Second stage); Worship of King Dashrath, his sons – Laxman (with his wife), Bharat (with his wife), Shatrughan (with his wife), and Shri Hanuman Ji (Third stage); Lord Shri Ram Chandra Ji was worshipped in his royal form, alongside his consort (Fourth stage).

The ceremony concluded with Aarti, Pushpanjali, and the chanting of the sacred Hare Rama-Hare Krishna mantra.

Notable dignitaries including former Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda, Tata Steel Vice President (Corporate Services) D.B. Sundar Raman, Chief of Corporate Services Pranay Sinha, and Land Department Chief Amit Singh graced the occasion and extended their wishes to MLA Roy. Congress leader Ramashrya Prasad Singh and several senior BJP leaders also attended the event.

The main host of the event was MLA Saryu Roy, along with  Akanksha Nair, Anshul Sharan, Dharmendra Tiwari, Sunita Rai, and Parul Singh. Devotees present during the ceremony were offered salt-free sago patties, sago kheer, and tea as prasad. Passersby were also served tea continuously throughout the day.

Mahaprasad Today at Milanee Hall
Organizer Ashutosh Roy informed that Mahaprasad will be served at Milanee Hall, Bistupur, from 12:30 PM on Friday, continuing till 11 PM. The menu will include traditional items like Hathikan Puri, Sabzi, Bundia, and Chutney. Devotees from across Jharkhand, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh are expected to attend this spiritual event.
