Jamshedpur, March 9: Life Saving Course organised by Tata Steel Sports Department kicked off at JRD Tata Sports Complex on March 8.
The course would continue till March 14. Total 25 trainees are participating which includes life guards from swimming pool at JRD Tata Sports complex, cadets from Tata Steel Adventure Foundation, athletic trainees of sports department, Beldih Club employees and participants from Ranchi as well.
Mukul Vinayak Chaudhari, Chief, Tata Football Academy (TFA) & Sports was the chief guest during the inaugural event. Hemant Gupta, Head Sports and Tata Steel Adventure Foundation was also present and encouraged the participants.
Gopal Naskar is the course coordinator. This course was last held two years back before Covid.
