25 prospective investors meet CM Raghubar Das in Kolkata

Kolkata/Ranchi, Aug. 20: Proving itself as a major emerging investment destination, Jharkhand got tremendous response from various business groups. About 2 dozen prospective investors had a marathon one to one meeting with Chief Minister Raghubar Das in Kolkata on Friday.

Investors of various sectors such as infra, education, health, steel, agro-industries, skill development, manufacturing, sports, energy, Information Technology, Mining etc. met CM and his high level official delegation in hotel Oberoi Grand.

According to the information, Global Health Care, Century Ply, Electro Steels Ltd., Atha Group, Daruka Mica, Desun Hospitals, Techno Electric and Engg. Co. Ltd., Pragyan Int.

University, Prem Footwear, Holoflex Ltd., Sri Ram Ozone Group of Companies, RICE Group, Jivan Ram Sheoduttrai Group, Orange Tree Business Solutions Pvt. Ltd., TCG software services, Gloster Ltd., IVY Knowledge services(p) ltd., Blooming Sun ,Crystal Logistics and Kushal Group authorities met CM with their proposal of investment.

Dr. Suresh Agarwal, Chairman, Pragyan International university said that Chief Minister Raghubar Das has made a strong bid to attract investment in Jharkhand. We have got tremendous response from GOJ, he added.

Speaking at an interactive session with investors here at Kolkata on Friday, Das said, “India is the country to invest and in India, Jharkhand is the happening place. We have decided to convert every crisis into an opportunity”.
Das, who arrived here on a one day visit to Kolkata, promised investors that he would ensure that all the proposals are cleared without any glitches .

In a move to woo investors from India and abroad through its Global Investor Summit 2017, which is scheduled to be held in February next year, Jharkhand held an investor roadshow in Kolkata on Friday.

Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said, The state could play a decisive role in ‘Make in India’ campaign. “There are opportunities in every sector in Jharkhand. We want investors to come to the State to explore these opportunities. We have come to invite investors to the Jharkhand Global Investor Summit to be held in February,” Das added.
