MNPS hosts several on stage and off stage events

Jamshedpur, August 21: Motilal Nehru Public School (MNPS) organised “Prayas For Success-2K16” at the school campus on Saturday.

The inter-school programme was a grand success with 21 city schools participating in a series of truly creative off stage and on stage events. DBMS English School was crowned the winner, Loyola School ended as runner-up while DAV Bistupur bagged the best discipline award.

Various events included- Classy Prep, Impersonaters, Lyonara, Quzine, Flutter Me Shutter, Smoke Dampers, Scenariste, Toddler Tiles, Europress, Electroblitz and Impetus.

The On stage events included- In Classy Prep- DBMS English School was crowned the winner, DBMS Kadma was the first runner-up while Dayanand Public School was the second runners-up.

In Impersonaters-Andhra Association won the first position, JH Tarapore (Dhatkidih)was second while DBMS English was third. In Lyonara (Junior)-Church School, Beldih was first followed by DBMS English School and Andhra Association. In Lyonara (Senior)-Loyola School was first while KSMS and DBMS English were second and third respectively. In Quzine- Loyola School was first followed by DAV Bistupur and JH Tarapore.

In Flutter Me Shutter-Loyola School was first, St.Mary’s English School was second while DBMS English School was third. In the last of the on stage events- Smoke Dampers- Dayanand Public School was first followed by Church School Beldih and Narbheram Hansraj English School.

Several Off stage events were also held- In Scenariste- DBMS English School was first, Hill Top School was second while St. Mary’s English School remained third. In Toddler Tiles- JH Tarapore was first followed by DBMS Kadma and Jusco School Kadma. In Europress- KPS Kadma was first followed by DBMS English School and Kasidih High School. In Electroblitz- Jusco School Kadma was first, KPS kadma was second while DAv Bistupur came third. In Impetus- AIWC Academy Baridih was first followed by Hill Top School and DBMS English School.

The event anchored by Satya Amar, Susmita Jha , Md.Faizan, Puja Kumari, Badal, Nalini and Sweta reflected a perfect blend in co-ordination. Earlier in the morning, the inauguration was done by Akhilesh Kr. Dubey (Chairman, School Managing Committee), Dr. D.P. Shukla (Secretary, School Managing Committee), R.P Tyagi (Ex-chairman, School Managing Committee), Ashu Tiwary (Principal) and Event Moderator Keya Adak, student representative Nalini. Principal of School of Hope, teacher representative of Asha Kiran and Asst. Secretary of P.A.T.H were also present on this occasion.

PRAYAS aims at developing the latent talent and promoting safety awareness in youngsters. Jyoti unit had donated fifty thousand to School of Hope, Asha Kiran and P.A.T.H which was collected by entry fees of participants and audiences of different schools.

In the day’s event we had renowned Hip Hop dancer from Tollywood Harshvardhan Bhan and Master Rohit Karmakar who performed and judged our dance event.

Principal Ashu Tiwary and Vice-Principal Dr.Ritu Choudhary gave away the prizes to the winners. Addressing the gathering Ashu Tiwary applauded the efforts of the Jyoti unit of the school in sustaining creativity amongst youngsters. She also appreciated the efforts put in by the Jyoti unit members and the Moderator.
