Jamshedpur: District administration deputed 21 magistrates in-charge at 15 places in Mango and Dhatkidih localities on Sunday in a bid to ensure smooth law and order situation in the aftermath of yesterday�s violence by a mob of people protesting lynching of four local youths in Rajnagar.
The magistrates include five senior magistrates. They have been deputed from 9 am of 20th May 2017 till 25th May 2017, sources said.
The deputation order was issued by the sub divisional officer of Dhalbhum Manoj Kumar Ranjan. The magistrates will be keeping an eye on the situation in Mango, Dhatkidih and other sensitive areas of the city with the assistance of district police and paramilitary forces. They will be accompanied by videographers to collect evidence on the spot.
Meanwhile, the officers in-charge of Mango, Azadnagar, Bistupur, MGM and Olidih PS have been asked to accompany the magistrates along with armed cops, lathi parties and women cops.
The special officer of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee Deepak Sahay has been deputed has been given charge of Dhatkidih Chowk while the special officer of Mango Notified Area Committee JP Yadav and the marketing officer Ashok Kumar Singh have been given charge of Mango.
The assistant engineer of Mango Notified Area Committee Rajesh Roshan and marketing officer Rampujan Rahi have been deputed at Dimna Road.
