Chaibasa, June 5: World Environment day was observed by Chamber of commerce and Industries, Chaibasa on Sunday.
BJP leader cum TAC member JB Tubid was the chief guest for the function. The tree plantation drive was launched at Post Office Chowk, Near Sadar Police Station and Goushala.
Around 200 rare varieties of trees were planted during the programme . Chief Guest JB Tubid said that we must pledge to the vegetation in order to protect the environment .
We must set example and handover a safe environment to our future generation.
Present during the function was Chamber of commerce chairman Lalit Sharma , Chamber Founder Anup Sultania, BJP district president Gobinda Pathak and a large number of Chamber of commerce members.
