Ranchi: A total of 202 cases were lodged by the state police so far in connection with violation of the Model Code of Conduct.
Election Commission sources said the maximum number of cases, 52, were lodged against Bharatiya Janata Party while 31 cases were lodged against Jharkhand Vikas Morcha.
There are 30 cases against AJSU and 18 against Congress. There are 24 cases against JMM and one or more against RJD, Forward Bloc, Jharkhand Party, Nationalist Congress Party, Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party, Trinamool Congress, CPI (ML), Aam Admi Party and unidentified persons.
